College Woodwork was founded in the early 1900s, as a woodworking class for students at southern Ontario academy, in which they could learn solid skills and values. By the 1960s it had become a full-fledged furniture manufacturer.

College Woodwork still adheres to the core values established more than a century ago. It remains committed to producing quality products at a reasonable price.
